You are able to give tracks thumbs up or thumbs down, bookmark a song so you can purchase it later, easily switch between your personalized radio stations, and view full track data and album art.

Built-in Bluetooth
Pioneer's Audio receivers feature built-in Bluetooth enabling both hands-free calling and audio streaming with the latest Hands-Free Profile (HFP 1.6) and Wideband Speech capability. This allows you to experience the more natural sound quality and details during calls. When streaming music, AVRCP 1.5 lets you browse and select the media stored on your smartphone.
Spotify
With Spotify being a dedicated A/V source on the receiver, you now have the ability to control content from the Spotify app on iPhone and Android devices. You can play, pause and skip tracks, browse playlists, albums and radio stations on the go using the Pioneer controls. If you are a Spotify premium user (requires a monthly paid subscription), you can enjoy ad-free, high quality music even when there is no internet connection.
Pioneer ARC App
Command your radio in a whole new way with the Pioneer ARC App. Control basic functions on your receiver including presets, volume, fast forwards, track back, and more. Browse music files or access music apps directly from the app.
Smartphone Control
Access music on your smartphone directly from the Pioneer receiver. Search for Artist, Albums and Songs using Pioneer's intuitive interface. With Pioneer receivers you can also access and control select music and radio apps on your smartphone.

This car stereo is SiriusXM-Ready™ so you can get over 140 channels, including commercial-free music plus the best sports and live events, comedy, news, exclusive talk, and entertainment. SiriusXM programming is received through the SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner (sold separately, SiriusXM subscription required).
Android Music Support
Users of Android devices running operating system 4.0 or later can connect and listen to music stored on their device to the receiver without the need for an app. The process is made possible using Media Transfer Protocol (MTP). MTP allows the receiver to recognize the Android smartphone as a music storage device. Users can now access music via USB stored on an Android device and operate basic operations like FF, REW, Play, Pause, Random Play, and Repeat. Metadata information such as track, artist, and album name can be displayed.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR COLORS
Dual-zone color illumination allows you to customize the color of the text on-screen as well as select another color for the button illumination so you can express your personality right in your dash. Over 210,000 colors are available for an endless number of color combinations to match the illumination in any vehicle.
The 10-level brightness control allows you to customize the brightness of your screen. This adjustment can be made with 10 levels of brightness allowing you to adjust the MIXTRAX and illumination settings to your liking.

FLAC Codec Support
Pioneer Car Stereo Receivers upgrade in-car audio with amazing sound reproduction with their ability to play FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) files, which are 50-60% smaller than WAV files yet retain the integrity of the original sound sources. FLAC playback at up to 44.1khz sampling frequency and 16-bit bitrate for files stored on a USB thumb drive.
Additional Features
AOA 2.0 Support for Android
AOA 2.0 enables Android owners to play music streaming apps and control basic functionally, Play/Pause and Skip Song, using the buttons of the receiver. The new feature requires the Android device to be running Android 4.1 or newer and be plugged into the receiver via the USB connection on the front of the unit.

Keep the party going with MIXTRAX®, an innovative Pioneer technology that creates a non-stop mix of your music library complete with a range of DJ-inspired effects. Drawing from Pioneer’s rich DJ heritage and our passion for music, MIXTRAX delivers a unique DJ infused listening experience to those in the car. MIXTRAX takes the music from an iPhone, iPod, USB device, or certain Android devices and plays it back with added transitions and effects, creating a virtual DJ inside the Pioneer receiver.
USB Auto Switch
The receiver also includes the USB Auto Switch feature so when the phone is connected via USB the listener has the option to choose whether the receiver uses the phone as a source, or just charges the device.
